Hi, I'm Liam, the founder of Geekiam Collectables. As a lifelong fan of trading cards and tabletop games, I wanted to build a place where everyone—from beginners to seasoned collectors—feels at home. Our Story

Geekiam Collectables began as a dream to create a welcoming space for collectors and gamers in the heart of Birtley. What started as a small passion project has grown into a vibrant community hub, where friendships are made and memories are shared. We believe in the power of play, the joy of collecting, and the importance of community.
How Geekiam Started
We began our journey trading at local car boot sales, selling items from our personal collection.
Sep 2022Stalls at Tynemouth Market
We set up a regular stall at the iconic Tynemouth Market, meeting new faces and growing our customer base.
Dec 2022Comic Cons & Fairs
We expanded into comic cons and toy fairs across the region.
Jan 2023Our First Office
We opened our very first store, a small office space with room for just 8 people.
Apr 2023Upgrading to Office 2
As demand continued to grow, we moved into a larger office with better setup for community events.
Jul 2023Upgrading to Office 3
We expanded again into an even bigger office, with dedicated gaming areas.
Dec 2023Our Birtley Store
A major milestone: we got the keys to our very first high street store in Birtley!
May 2024Where we are now
We celebrated one incredible year in our Birtley store with a special party.
